distance running is simple sport and i want to keep it like that
by understanding the demands of each event, we can design training that improves the systems that matter most
my approach prioritises aerobic development, intensity control, and training that’s tailored to both the individual and their event
my philosophy is rooted in the norwegian model of lactate threshold training.
but through trial and error in my own training, and by studying the research and how others have adapted the model, i’ve developed my own interpretation of how to train most effectively for distance running.
